Spring Break Photo Shoot

Carolina went for her first professional photo session yesterday.  She cried a lot, and it took almost 2 hours from start to finish.  She did eventually cooperate enough to get quite a few good photos.

Spring Break Part 2

Monday - first official day of Spring Break - RAIN!

                                                  Carolina got a new rain coat just in time!

She is finally starting to talk!  Her most used words - "mine", "mama" and "wow", which she uses at least one hundred times a day - she has also added "I cereal", "I juice" and "I don't know"

Spring Break Part 1

We kicked off our pre-spring break with a Saturday garage sale.  It also happened to be St. Patrick's Day, so Cara is wearing her special St. Patty's Day shirt.

The next day, we took our garage sale profit and made a mad trip to Ikea in Dallas.
Looking for a desk for the office, and anything else that looked like a good deal.

                                                             Then headed back home.

               Not even one screaming fit until the last hour of the trip.  Not too bad for a 12 hour day!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

I'm finally caught up!  I am actually posting for the current month!  March 2nd was Dr. Seuss' Birthday.  Every day that week Cara's school had crazy days.  Crazy socks, backwards day etc.  I found the shirt at a consignment store for $2.00

This was crazy hair day.  Not really much I can do with her hair - this was the best I could come up with.

First Snow Day

I dreamed all year of taking our first snow day pictures.  Finally the day before Valentine's Day it happened.  I had the perfect hat, the perfect background, the perfect spot for snow angels, and the perfect plan to take amazing pictures of Carolina in the snow.  There was just one problem - she HATED the snow!  I got everything ready and opened the door to take her out, and she started screaming and wouldn't let me put her down for one second.  I hadn't planned on being in any of the pictures, but she wasn't going to let go and I had to at least get something - so here are her first snow pictures - not quite what I dreamed of!
